Peter J. Churchill, entered into eternal life at the age of 88 on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Beloved son of the late Harold and Edna (nee Burns). Loving father of Tony (Shelly) and Gina (Paul) Foley. Proud grandfather of 5, Vince, Katy, Robert, Timmy, Kate and 4 great-grandchildren, Everett, Siena, Mila, and Walter. Cherished companion of Judy Szulczewski for many years. Dear brother of Mary Kozlencer.

Preceded in death by his siblings, James, Judy Appenzeller, and Robert. Further survived by many other friends and family.

Pete was a devoted law enforcement professional for Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department for 28 years. He also spent many years working as a U.S. Marshal. Pete additionally worked for Milwaukee Road for 20 years.

He will be missed by many.

The family would like to thank the staff at the VA Hospital for all their special care towards Peter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home (10121 W. North Ave, Wauwatosa, WI) from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.
