Joseph passed away peacefully on December 25th, 2021 in his home in Menomonee Falls, WI. Beloved husband of Wendy for 39 years. Cherished father of Trisha Pennoyer, Amanda (Pete) Glowinski, and Lindsey (Brad) Kuhn. Proud Grandfather to Jackson and Riley Pennoyer. Preceded in death by his mother and fathers in-law Judy, David and Earl. Survived by his parents Albert and Lois Laatsch, sister Jeanne (Jeff) Butzer, brothers Michael (Pam), Larry (Cindy), Rick (Pam), Paul, and Thomas. He is further survived by many dear in-laws, nieces, nephews and an abundance of close friends.

His life was full of love and adventure. He spent many summers of his life camping in Peninsula State Park in Door County, WI. He was a master of many skills and hobbies. He was a dreamer and had a constant appreciation for all the joys that life had to offer. He leaves us too soon but he does so with a legacy of love and laughter behind him. 

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8th at 11:30AM at The Carriage House in Oconomowoc, WI.
