James M. Pihringer

James M. Pihringer, 62 of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 18, 2021, after a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer.

He loved spending time with family and friends while fishing, scuba diving, flying gas airplanes, and relaxing around the campfire. He also enjoyed watching sunsets, wildlife, and concerts at the city beach.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean (Kull) Pihringer, and other relatives.

He is survived by his loving wife Denise, and his daughters Rachel (Justin) Longley and Tanya (Joseph) Wagner, along with grandchildren Devon and Tristan Longley and great grandson Luke. Also survived by his father James J. (Marilyn) Pihringer, siblings Barbara (Scott) Molitor, Jo Ann (R.W. Casper) Hart, Judith Fait, Jacqueline (Dan) Gutierrez, and Robert (Vicky) Pihringer, sisters and brothers-in-law Keith Reimer, Kreg (Theresa) Reimer, Deborah (John) Skalitzky, and Dawn (Allen) Garner. Also survived by aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Words cannot express how much he meant to everyone and just how missed he will be. He touched so many lives and will never, ever be forgotten.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Oconomowoc from 3pm until time of service at 6pm.

Burial will be Tuesday November 2, 2021 11am at Glenview Memorial Gardens W1219 Glenview Avenue Ixonia, Wi 53036. Please meet at the cemetery.
