Edward W. Mueller
October 12, 1933 - October 8, 2020

Edward William Mueller passed peacefully into Eternal Rest on October 8th, at Samaritan Health Center.

Edward was born October 12, 1933 to Edward G. and Anita J Mueller. He had five brothers and sisters: Richard (Janet), Roy (Penny), Robert, (Cathy), Judy (Robert Palmer), and Carla (John Berns).

Edward graduated from Lutheran High School in 1951. He married LaVern Nicklas in August 1954, and was drafted into the Army on December 7th of that same year. After two years of service, he returned to Milwaukee to attend University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and graduated with a degree in education. He later earned his Master’s Degree from UW-La Crosse. He taught in the Milwaukee area for over 30 years, and even outside of work, was always willing to pass on his vast knowledge. His hobbies and interests were wide ranging, including history, lapidary, jewelry making, stamp collecting, fossils, bowling, archeology, and so very much more. A devoutly religious man, Edward was immensely patient and enormously generous. A kinder spirit and more gentle soul has seldom graced our lives.

Among those who mourn his loss are Edward and LaVern’s two daughters, Noel Kellogg (Scott) and Dawn Drewek, and his grandchildren Alexander, Katharine (Joe Hewitt), and Amber.
