A. Diane Roskopf
March 2, 1934 - August 12, 2020

On Wednesday, August 12, 2020 Diane Roskopf passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side. Beloved wife of Tony Roskopf, loving mother of Jeffrey (Geralyn), Gary (Pamela), Sue (David) Picard, Brian, Mary (Brett) Suhorepetz; cherished grandmother of Gregory (Kim), Jessica (Mike), Cory (Liz), Kristin (Alex), Jessica (Ben), Kelly, Ethan, and Hannah; great-grandmother to Philipp, Maddie, Isabella and Benjamin. Further Survived by many other relatives and friends.

Diane grew up in Menomonee Falls and was a lifelong member of St. Mary Parish. She was born on March 2, 1934, to Philip and Margaret , and had one sister, Jeanette. Diane was a devote Catholic, baptized at St. Mary Parish and attended mass throughout her life. Diane met Tony at the Nightingale, and spent many dates roller skating there while her father bartended there also. They were married in August 1953, also at St. Mary Parish. She and Tony raised their children over the years, and provided care to her grandchildren, and others that needed help watching their children also. She was a servant always helping others, she was the matriarch of our family. Diane participated in numerous groups such as the Ladies Sodality, assistant den mother of Boy Scouts conducting meetings and helping with the pinewood derby in the church basement, as well as baking cupcakes for the school hot lunch program, driving and donating as much of her time as needed in other areas for St Mary School and Parish functions.

Diane was the foundation behind her husband’s business, they were a team like no other – a bond so strong and faithful. They worked hard together but also enjoyed their time together. She oversaw the daily operations and assisted many customers over the years. And, as all business owners do, she spent many hours late at night doing her bookkeeping. She always said “when there’s a will, there’s a way”, that was their partnership until the very end.
