Philip Wayne Fager

Born to eternal life on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at age 72.   

Survived by his friend and former spouse, Terri (Whitman) Fager.

Loving father of Eric (Emily) Fager, Rachel (Kent) Krueger and Nathan (Kristin) Fager. 

Proud Papa of Kendra, Ryan, Kyle, Austin, Ayla, Liam, Allison and Natalie.

Beloved brother of Dennis (Nancy) Fager, Barbara (Ron) Hansen, Mark (Donna) Fager, Arthur (Catherine) Fager.

Dear Uncle of Janelle, Benjamin, Todd, Zachary, Nicholaus, Melissa, Adam and Elizabeth.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Geraldine (O’Guinn) Fager.

Wayne was loved and will be remembered by many other relatives, friends and anyone who would have met him.

Proud Vietnam Veteran, Navy Seabee Construction Battalion 5 and member of the Sussex VFW.  Wayne was a Union Carpenter, Plumber, Handyman and enjoyed helping anyone who needed it.  If Wayne wasn’t around, you could find him on any body of water fishing and relaxing. 

Wayne wished for his remains to be cremated and spread by his parents in Southern Illinois and at his favorite fishing spot in Canada.  A memorial fish fry will be held on September 6, 2020 in Sussex, WI with full Military Honors.  Wayne would want anyone who ever met him or even passed him in the grocery store to come over, celebrate, laugh and eat lots of food.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
