George and Heidi. So sorry to hear about your mom. I was in Destin on May 15-16 and thought about her and even ate at the Whales restaurant, across the street where she lived. I thought about contacting Rosalie but I did not have her number or the time. I was just passing through for the night. So ironic that she was at San Camillo, which I view every day from my apartment window. I remember meeting her in October 1997 for the first time, later golfing with her, and even visiting with her twice in Destin (once we went to mass together). She was fun and always very gracious. I am sorry to not know she was living so close to me. I would have loved to have had the opportunity to visit once again with her.

Rosalie made frequent trips to the New Orleans area to visit Mary and Keith. In recent years she became a regular holiday visitor to the Steele Family gatherings. We have fond memories of those visits and especially the gatherings she celebrated with us in 2019. May she rest in peace and praying for peace and comfort for the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Bootz family. I have fond memories of your Mom during my visits to your home in Milwaukee when I was a kid. And whenever Aunt Rosalie and her sisters would get together, it was a force to be reckoned with. They were very close and their love and affection for one another was a joy to witness.

Our hearts are with your family at this time. But don’t fret because she is with our Lord and in a very happy place.
Mims was a fabulous fun lady. We will have a martini toast in her honor! But only one!
