David Charles Nader
November 3, 1954 - May 11, 2020
        

Of Milwaukee, died May 11, 2020 at the age of 65.  Loving husband of Karen Joan for 33 years and protective father of Amy Mercena.  Survived by brothers Steve (Nenita) and Jim (Katherine), nephew Stevie (Hazel), great nephews Greyson and Nixin, as well as many relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by his father (Charles Paul) and mother (Lydia Mae).

Dave had numerous life/work experiences that included sign painter, gas station attendant, laundry worker, carpenter’s assistant, automotive parts rebuilder, steamfitter apprentice, Honda auto mechanic, professional geologist/hydrogeologist, caregiver for parents, and library technician. He took a break from working in 1984 to finish a Bachelor of Science and a Master Degree in Geosciences and Hydrogeology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dave enjoyed such activities as cross country skiing, running, hiking, fishing, camping, craft beer, and traveling with his family and many dear friends. His ultimate joy was always being with his family. Dave met the love of his life, Karen, on July 1, 1981 at Summerfest. Dave’s daughter, Amy, made him a very proud father.  

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Funeral Home from 3 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 4 PM.  Private family burial will be at Most Precious Blood Church Cemetery in New London, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to your favorite charity are appreciated.
