(Nee Sundnes) Died peacefully December 6, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Loving wife of the late John W. McFadyen. Dear sister of Ireene Sullivan.  Beloved mother of Barbara Young, Julie (Michael) Koss and John M. McFadyen. Karen is ‘Masie’ to 9 grandchildren and 9 great -grandchildren. Alexander Young, Peter (Annie) Young, Ian (Rachel) Young, Nick Young, Jesse (Tyler) Hillstrom,  Michael Koss, Jr, Sarah (Mark) Splittgerber, Charlie Koss, and Finn McFadyen. Huck, Betsy, and Mac Hillstrom, Jack, Molly, and Sadye Young, Charlie and Gunnar Splittgerber, and Archer Young. She is ‘Aunt Grandma’ to Ireene’s children and grandchildren. She is further survived by treasured Norwegian relatives, and countless friends.

Memorial Service on Thursday, December 13th at 10:30 AM at North Shore Congregational Church, 7330 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Fox Point, WI. The family will receive friends following the service.
