After almost 101 years of life in Wauwatosa, Claire Engel Lutzen,  born November 7,1917, passed away in her home attended by her adored caregiver Bobby. She is survived by a daughter, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren living in the Washington DC area. Her life was filled with activities at the Wauwatosa and Elm Grove Methodist churches, Wauwatosa Women’s Club, League of Women Voters, volunteer service at the Veteran’s hospital and Froedtert. Her last year was filled with chocolate in every form - cake, ice cream and kisses! She will be cremated with her ashes placed in a niche at the Wisconsin Memorial Columbarium. A memorial will be held at a later date.
