Born to eternal life on July 21, 2018 at the age of 84. Loving husband of 40 years to Suzanne. Loving father of Marie (Jim) Waltich, Patty (Rodger) Snyder, James (Kristin), Jeanette Watson, Janice (Larry) Mazurek, Greg O'Rourke, and Gina (Mike) Monacelli. Beloved grandfather to 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Further survived by brothers Jeffrey (Sharon) and Jonathan (Patricia). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Casimir and Anna, sister Cynthia(Richard) Strack, and brothers Douglas and Thaddeus.

Rich retired from Silgan Containers after 30 plus years. He was an avid race fan, a gifted mechanic, a do-it-yourselfer extraordinaire and enjoyed sharing his talents with family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Holstrum and the 5th floor nursing staff at CMH. Special thanks also to sister-in-law Linda Kersten and all who have cared for and prayed for Rich over the years.

Visitation will take place on July 27, 2018 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, N88W17658 Christman Rd Menomonee Falls, at 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Private burial and military honors will take place. Memorials can be directed to the Eschweiler Fund at Good Shepherd.
