A proud 87-year-old military veteran who went home to the Lord June 14, 2018 and is rejoined with his beloved wife Colleen in Heaven.  John bravely served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1951-52 and was honorably discharged and returned to Wisconsin. John was a faithful employee of Briggs and Stratton for 43 years and was a well respected foreman known as the “King of Stamping.” John also coined a simple saying that had a huge impact on others and also defined how he lived life, “One Day At A Time.”   

A celebration of his life will be held at the VFW Post 2260, 830 E. Wisconsin Ave. in Oconomowoc Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 12 noon to 3pm. Military Honors at 12:45 pm.

In lieu of flowers, gifts to the local VFW would be appreciated.
