Marilyn F. Creich
January 11, 1918 - April 15, 2018

Passed away April 15, 2018 at the age of 100.

She was the beloved wife of the late Boris Creich. Her sister Betty (the late Royce) Komor and brother Bob (Mary) Farrar also preceded her in death.

Loving mother of Georgia (Charlie Kraus) Johnson and Corine (Cliff) Gribble. Grandmother of Stephan and Emily Gribble. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Marilyn was a stay at home mother who was very involved in her family. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader and “cookie mom” for both of her girls. She was a member of the Suburban Women's Club of Wauwatosa for 66 years where she’s served as President in two separate terms. Her hobbies included singing in the Women’s Club Choir, knitting, sewing, and being an avid reader. She later was employed by Roundy’s in Wauwatosa until she retired.

When asked what her secret was for a long, happy life, she replied, “I tell them to always smile on the inside. If you’re smiling on the inside it will appear on the outside and you will always be happy.”

A private celebration of Marilyn’s life will take place later this summer.

Charitable contributions may be made in Marilyn’s name to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
