Of Wauwatosa.  Entered Eternal Life on Friday, April 13, 2018, age 84 years.  Beloved father of Jane and David (Marlene) Kassens.  Grandfather of Katherine, Hunter, Theisen and Reagan Kassens.  Further survived by his sister, Joy (the late Walter) Schielke, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Laura Mae Kassens (nee Theisen); and his parents, Sam and Elda (nee Raasch) Kassens. 

Visitation Friday, April 20 from 9:30am until time of Service at 11:00am at MOUNT CARMEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8424 W. Center Street, Milwaukee.  Interment Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Luther Manor Foundation or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society appreciated. 

Jerry was a 3rd generation retiree of Pabst Brewing Company with 44 years of service. He contributed many years of volunteer work with the Blood Center of Wisconsin, Wauwatosa Police Department’s Project Reassurance and Block Watch programs, Bingo and Roller rink at St. Pius X parish, usher at Mount Carmel, Irish Fest, Provost and Animals units of the Tripoli Shrine, James M. Hayes and Daylite Masonic Lodges, and Brewery Local 9.  Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. 

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff and volunteers of Luther Manor in Wauwatosa who showed Jerry much love over his senior years of residence there.
