Erwin J Kiefer, 90, was taken by the hand of Jesus on January 23, 2018. He was born March 5, 1927 in Milwaukee, where he grew up. He graduated from Washington High school, where he also joined the Navy, honorably serving his country. He then went on to graduate from UW-Madison with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. It was there that he met and married his beloved wife, Jean. He went on to work for Boeing, Kimberly Clark, and Patrick Cudahy, where he was director of engineering. He was very active in the community, including serving as president of Glendale Lions Club, American Institute of Plant Engineers, and the Wisconsin Alumni Association out of Neenah, WI and Columbus, OH. He also served on the board for the North Shore Congregational Church. He is survived by his wife, Jean Kiefer, and daughter Patricia Tambone, as well as his grandchildren, Adrienne Tambone and Adam Tambone. 

Funeral Service Saturday February 3 at 11:00AM at North Shore Congregational Church, 7330 N. Santa Monica Blvd, Fox Point. Following the service the family will greet friends until 1:00PM at the church. Private family interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church or charity of your choice appreciated.
