Joined his wife Janet (nee Loose) in heaven on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 84 years. He is survived by his son Mark (MaryAnn) and his daughter Jean (Bob) Harley, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many friends.

Served honorably in the US Marines during the Korean conflict. Past President American Legion #382, Menomonee Falls. A 52 year member of the Masonic Fraternity, he served McKinley Lodge #307, Past Patron- Wauwatosa Chapter OES 219. 48 year member of Tripoli Shrine, Charter member of Long Riders, Past President of Washington Ozaukee Shrine Club, Past Commodore- Masonic Seafarers. Also held a dual membership in Glen L. Humphrey Lodge #314 F. & A.M.

Enjoyed travel and ballroom dancing with his beloved wife Janet.  More recently enjoyed leading a sing-a-long group, reading scripture weekly at church and spreading love and generosity to everyone he met.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Three Pillars Masonic Home, Ewald Chapel, 375 State Road 67, Dousman, WI. Masonic service by McKinley Lodge will precede the funeral service. Officiating will be Pastor Terese Leonhard. Military honors following the service at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Garden of the Last Supper. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Masonic Home- MCHR Recreation Services Department are appreciated.
