(Nee: Hjelter) Passed away peacefully at the Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the age of 95.

Beloved wife of the late Maynard A. Lageson and mother of Mary (George) Woolsey, Catherine (Thorin Marty deceased), and Thomas (Ann Lundberg). Loving grandmother of John and Benjamin Woolsey, Jessica and Samantha Marty, and Karen and Dominic Lageson. Further survived by brothers, Odean and John Hjelter, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation is at the Lutheran Home Chapel, 7500 West North Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI 53213, on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date in Ellendale, Minnesota. 

Donations in memory of Elaine can be made to Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO) or the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF).
