Robert "Packy" Pakulski
April 24, 1945 - January 2, 2018

Robert (Bob) Edwin Pakulski passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 2, 2018. He was the youngest of three children born to Edwin and Dolores Pakulski and cherished brother to sisters Jacqueline and Marilyn. He grew up on the south side of Milwaukee where his friends affectionately knew him as “Packy”. This nickname later became the inspiration for his small business, “Packy’s Custom Vending”, which he owned for 20 years.

In 1970, Bob met the love of his life, Karen Ann Cromheecke through friends. The two married on July 1, 1972, and soon built a house in Mukwonago and started a family. He was a devoted father to his two children, Sarah and Rob, and never missed an opportunity to be involved in their lives. Bob found joy in attending school field trips, watching his son play hockey, and supporting his children in any endeavor that they had. This support lasted his lifetime as he continued to find ways to take care of his children well into their adult lives. He was and continues to be a role model for both of his children.

Bob found enjoyment in the simple things in life. Whether it was spending time on the lake with family, talking with neighbors, golfing with friends, helping someone on a project, or watching the sunset. He had a great sense of humor, liked a good pun, and loved music, especially Frank Sinatra and Big Band.

Bob is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen; his children and their spouses Sarah (Byron) Hawks and Rob (Tanya); and grandsons Robert, Will, August, and Pascal. His four grandsons were the apple of his eye and he spent countless hours with them enjoying the simple acts of being a grandpa.

He is further survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Bill Felkner; brother-in-laws Paul; Dick (Jan); and Wayne (Linda) Cromheecke; sister-in-law Elaine (Bob) Wunderlin; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Dolores (nee Huntowski) Pakulski; his sister Jacqueline Meunier; his father and mother-in-law Maynard and Catherine Cromheecke; and brother-in-law Jerome Cromheecke.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church, 830 East Veterans Way in Mukwonago. Visitation will be held from 3:30 until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 5:30 p.m. A private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Bob can donate to the Mukwonago Community Library or to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
