Age 62, was born in Milwaukee Oct. 30, 1955. She left this world in peace with her loving family at her side, Nov. 8, 2017. Nancy was the sixth and youngest daughter of the late John F. (Jack) and Lillian Catalane. She is survived by her sisters Anne Catalane, Mary Grace Catalane and Catherine (Chris Bury) Catalane Bury. Frank Sinatra’s, “I did it my way,” provided a sound track to a life that Nancy filled with passion and zest. She was a strong, determined and independent woman who loved her family, appreciated her friends and entertained everyone who came to know her. Nancy was generous and gregarious. Her infectious laughter could shake a house. It filled the room, spilled into the hallway and echoed off the walls.

Nancy inherited her late father’s talent for business, sales and marketing. She joined the Miller Brewing Company as one of its first women sales representatives and earned promotions after postings in Bloomington, Ind., Austin, Texas and Milwaukee. After eleven years at Miller, Nancy launched her own successful marketing company, The Catalane Group, which created and sold promotional items nationwide and worldwide from its headquarters in the Milwaukee area.

Nancy’s family extends its deepest gratitude to Dr. Scott Maul and his entire staff at the Aurora Cancer Care Clinic and the angelic nurses of the Aurora Hospice.
