Of Sullivan, WI, died September 16, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. Edward was born on August 5, 1928 to Edward and Jessie Rowland. He attended Oconomowoc High School, served in the US Navy from 1945 to 1947, and was a World War II Veteran. On November 24, 1951 he married Beatrice Meintz and they had three children: Diane, David, and Dennis. Edward was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Beatrice, daughter Diane (Mike) Plumley, sons David and Dennis (friend Lynn), sister Helen Korth, and brother Richard (Joan), grandchildren Mandy (Adam) Roder and John (friend Molly) Plumley.

Edward belonged to the Legion Post 349 in Sullivan. He belonged to the Sullivan Fire Department when he was younger. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and old cars. He drove truck for many years.

Visitation will be held from 12 PM NOON until the time of Funeral Service at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, W407 Hwy 18, Sullivan, WI. Memorials to the donor’s choice are appreciated.
