Leonard John Zimmer of Oconomowoc, passed away on June 20, 2017 at the age of 79 years. He was born December 22, 1937 in Spring Valley, WI. to Edward and Anna Zimmer. He married Ruth Ann on January 10, 1970 at St. John's in Whitehall, WI. Leonard was a past member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Plasters and Cement Masons Union. He was formerly employed by Zignego's and then Wm Beaudoin. Leonard was a long time member of St. Jeromes Catholic Church. Leonard is survived by his loving wife Ruth Ann. His son Brian (Tracie) Zimmer and 3 grandchildren; Tyler, Brianna, Brittney, his brother Bernie Zimmer and his sister Rita Parsons. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sisters; Cyril, Ronald, Alfred, Edward, Esther, Thresa, Marie and Roseanne. Friends may visit on Saturday July 1, 2017 from 9:00 am until time of funeral mass 11:00 am all at St. Jerome Catholic Church (995 S. Silver Lake St. Oconomowoc, WI. 53066). Leonard was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and will always be remembered for his continuously smiling face, kind personality and his passion to live every day to the fullest.
