Jeffrey William Hanson, 64, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family and friends at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.  

Jeff was born May 8, 1953 to William and Verna Hanson of St. Francis, WI. Jeff attended Willow Glen Elementary, St. Francis High School and the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. Jeff had a thriving career at the Grunau Company in Oak Creek.

Jeff leaves behind his loving wife of 17 years Laura Bouslough, step-son Chris Cornolo and two Springer Spaniels, Millie and Sophie. He is survived by his brothers Richard (Barbara) Hanson; Robert (Suzanne) Hanson; his sisters Sally Nantell, Susie Markowski and Jill Hanson; his nieces and nephews Kevin, Melissa and Lisa; Brian and Michelle; Andy, Allison and Kerri; Ryan and Bryn.

Jeff took great pride in his log cabin and was rejuvenated by his time spent with family and friends on his nature trails. He enjoyed, hunting, fishing, golfing, and was an avid Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer fan.

Funeral will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1:00PM at Forest Home Cemetery Chapel, 2405 W Forest Home Avenue in Milwaukee. All are welcome. A reception celebrating Jeff’s life will follow. A private family burial service will be held Saturday, June 24th, 2017.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital for their constant, attentive treatment and care - especially Deb, Irene, Joanie, Marie and all the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center; Josie and Matt in the Cardiac ICU; Alex, Tamika, Connie, Sandy and all the wonderful nurses on the 12th floor Oncology; and finally the transplant team at Froedtert Hospital.
