Passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the age of 89. He is survived by his children Michael (the late Patti) Smith, Sue (Steve) Tucker, and Robert (Linda) Smith; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one sister Bim Springer; and special friend Kathy. Preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his daughter-in-law Patti, and his sisters Honey Gaulke and Betty Fisher. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

A private burial will be held at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia at a later date and time.
