Loraine E. Farris, 96, passed away peacefully, on April 4, at Linden Grove in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. She was born on February 6, 1921, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

She married Avril H. Farris, on August 16, 1943, in New Bedford, Mass where Avril was serving in the U S Army. They later moved to Mukwonago.

She was a member of the United Unitarian & Universalist Society of Mukwonago, The International Kiwanis Club and the local Kiwanis Club, as well as the local Chapter of Eastern Star.  She was passionate about The American Cancer Society and spent many hours making "cancer dressings" and delivering them to patients.

Her favorite pastimes were entertaining, playing bridge, sewing, knitting, and gardening.  Her younger years included bicycle riding and canoeing.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Lynn Thompson, her grandson,  Zakary Thompson, and a sister, Charlotte Koeffler.
