Mr Rader was my computer programming teacher at EDHS in the mid 1980s. I've had a great career in computing and have the best memories from his instruction. He was a passionate and intelligent role model. Best to his family and friends who keep him in thought.

1975-1976, Mr. Rader was my Math Analysis teacher at EDHS. He was extremely passionate in his presentations to the class as evidenced by his fast pace back and forth across the room and overzealous use of the blackboard. It was entertaining to me, and others.
He ALWAYS kept us late, and my typing teacher, Mrs. Poma, was not amused.
I last saw Mr. Rader at my wife's Senior Prom in 1978. I remember how happy he was to see me and discuss our lives. I was very touched.
My sincerest condolences to Mr. Rader's family. I am very grateful for the dedication how gave to his teaching profession.
May God Grace By With His Family.

Such a sad day. Mr Rader was one of my favorite teachers ever. He made learning fun, challenged our minds, was excited for us when we finally "got it" and always reminded us to "don't be 'fraid." I know he touched thousands of lives in a special way. You will be missed dearly Mr Rader. Thanks for being my math teacher.

I've very sorry for your loss. I had Mr. Rader as my 10 th grade math teacher at East Detroit High School in 1972-1973. He was by far my most memorable and favorite teacher. He was always willing to help his students with any problem, not just math. When ever I think about high school I always remember what a bright shining light he was. It was a privelidge to be one of his students. The world would be a much better place if it had more teachers like him.

Good guy. Learned a lot from him at East Detroit High in the early 1980's. I also learned how chalk can get on everything. Anyone who had Mr. Rader for Math knew he got chalk EVERYWHERE.
RIP Sir.

Mr. Rader was a remarkable teacher. His passion in the classroom engaged his students to learn. We became friends at EDHS and when I was attending WSU so was he at night for computer classes. He inspired me to major in computer science. He was my favorite teacher and a Marshall in the homecoming parade for my class of 1986 because so many thought he was the best. My sympathies to his family. He was a great man.

So sorry for your loss. I wanted to share with you how special a teacher Mr Rader was to me. I was a naturally gifted student in math - not at all challenged by the advanced classes offered and Mr Rader offered to sacrafice his lunch hour to work with me on an independent study course that he got approved by the administration. We worked every day during his lunch hour trying to prove a number line existance of infinity. Many mathmeticians have attempted this but I'm guessing none have given up there lunch hour to make sure a student wasn't lost to the system. God Bless Mr Rader, he will always be in my heart and mind - hope he finds infinity in heaven!
