Dan was a man who always made everyone smile. We had many laughs together at the fitness center during our workout classes. He had alot of determination to attend eventhou inside he was hurting. Dan will be missed by many but he is now in a peaceful/heavenly place which he truely deserves. My Sincere Sympathy to the family. Remember the memories you have are "Everlasting"

My heartfelt sympathy to Maggie and her children. You were such good neighbors on N. 89th Street, during the time we lived across the alley from you. May God keep you in His care!

I am so very sorry to hear of Dan's passing, and would like to pass on my sincere sympathy to Dan's family and friends. Due to Christamas-related family commitments, I will not be able to attend his service. This saddens me greatly.

Dan and I worked togther early in our careers at Briggs supporting the engine assembly lines. Dan in production control, and me in the Inspection Department. There was never a more knowledgeable, dedicated and fun-loving person to work with at Briggs, and I enjoyed his friendship daily until our career paths took us in different directions. Even when I ran into him from time to time, he always brightened my day and put a smile on my face. I can say without reservation that Dan will be greatly missed by his co-workers and fellow retirees.

Dan, may you rest in peace knowing that you have left a mark on our hearts.

My heart goes out to Dan's family.
I had the good luck to work for Dan for several years doing SAP documentation for Manufacturing Management. Dan was a great guy to work for, and I learned a lot about Briggs operations and about SAP from him. I will miss him and his wonderful sense of humor. He left his friends far too soon.

An inspiration - A gift - A great example - that was Dan. Working with and having the privilege to serve Dan as his Manager at Briggs & Stratton during his final years here, I can only hope that Dan will live on in others the way he does in me. He truly lived the motto that Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration - to excel at both and yet maintain the humility and good spirits Dan brought to every situation was a pleasure to behold. As the great coaches might observe: "You can't teach that! That's just talent." I learned a great deal from Dan and will always be thankful for those memories.

Dear Maggie, Jenny, Andrew & Nicole,
Always remember how joyful and funny and tenacious and talented Dan was. He has been a Peltier family member so long, it's been a very long time since we weren't using the phrase "Maggie and Dan," never one name without the other. I will miss him.
Love, your cousin, Mary.
