I had a wonderful lunch with my friend Ralph at the airport on the way home from SPS this March. He was his usual engaging, insightful self as we talked about Catholic Studies, Chagall and mutual friends. I thank God for our times of friendship and fellowship.

I knew Ralph through our association at SPS meetings over the years. I always appreciated Ralph's genuine Christian spirit along with his brilliant scholarship. Our prayers will continue to be for his wife and children, that God's grace will sustain you and grant you his guidance and peace.

While I didn't know Ralph very well it was clear of his commitment to Jesus Christ and His holy Gospel. Ralph was passionate (in a subdued way). God gave him a brilliant mind. Now all of his theological questions will be answered. My prayers are that the family will comforted by the Holy Spirit in a deep and profound way. May his memory be eternal!

My prayers are with the family during this time. May God bring you comfort. Dr. Del Colle was so helpful to me in my time at Marquette ('05-'09). He was a model of Christian discipleship. I thank God for the chance to know Dr. Del Colle and learn from his life and teaching.
