Matt was such a great guy. We used to work together Milwaukee Tool and he always made me smile and laugh. She will be missed deeply. My condolences to the boys and his family.

I didn’t know Matt personally, but my husband has told me about him since his passing and what a great guy he was. I also took some time to read the memories and stories that others have shared, and it is so clear how deeply Matt was loved, respected, and admired. It’s evident how many lives he touched and how deeply he will be missed by so many.
Depression can be debilitating, and it can be an incredibly lonely place. I truly admire your family for being open about Matt’s death being a suicide. By speaking openly about mental health and suicide, I hope that someday the stigma surrounding them will no longer exist, and people will feel less alone and more comfortable asking for the help they need.
My deepest condolences to you, your family, his children, and all of Matt’s friends and loved ones. I’m so very sorry for your loss.

It was my extreme pleasure to know Matt all these years. He was a fantastic, caring and wonderful person. We hadn't seen each other in awhile but sure had some good times when I was back in Wisconsin to visit. He will be sorely missed. Prayers being sent

I met Matt bowling... he was a wonderful bowler and coach, always trying to help you get a strike, whether or not you were on his team! You always knew where he was by his laugh!! My heart goes out to his family and the many friends he had during his journey. He will always be remembered.

Hugs Deede family. I shared wonderful riding and friendship with Matt at the farm. Matt was an extraordinary person. I feel the obituary fitting in capturing his essence. He is at peace. I share his birthday and his beautiful smile will always live in my mind. Rest my friend.

Our language does not have the words to fulfill or reflect feelings of the heart. Matt made friends feel seen. His life will be cherished forever. Rest in Peace my friend. Our family loved you and always will and rest assured You will never be forgotten. Your soul is free of the bounds of earthly living and the despair that fell upon your precious heart. Rest in Peace. For his children, your father was a wonderful friend to so many and my heart hurts for you. You made him proud. May your hearts grow bigger and may life be softer, in his honor and yours. God bless

Matty lived with me on McKinley Blvd in the 90’s. He was a shining light! The smile, the hugs! The great energy he shared! Even though we hadn’t been in touch other than FB, Matty heard of our brother Tim’s passing in 2021 and came to the funeral in support of our family. Matty was just thst kind of friend- you didn’t have to see him all the time to know he was always there! We will miss you dear, friend! May you be at peace and soar high and free! Much love Sarah ( Celichowski) Spella
