Peggy D. Siegmeier
June 26, 1932 - January 9, 2026
I have been friends with the Siegmeier family for over 50 years, having been in the same high school class with Shelly at Rockford Lutheran. Peggy was always so kind and friendly to me back then, and for the many years following when we enjoyed serving together at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rockford. We were also both members of the Chicago-Midwest Credit Management Association and enjoyed our monthly dinner meetings, presentations and laughs together.

Peggy & Lon were a great pair and so fun to be around. My Dad laughed so hard when they showed up at his surprise birthday party sporting tattoos on their biceps to imitate one he had gotten in the Navy.

Peggy was a classy lady, always looked “like a million bucks” and was one of the most kind and fun people I have known. I will always be able to hear Peggy & Lon’s laughs as if they are right next to me and I will smile every time!

I am thankful for the faith Shelly & Gary and their family have, and that they will know the quiet joy that only Christians can have! Until we are together again……!
