Joseph George Nemoir
October 31, 1947 - July 7, 2025
We were so shocked to hear this! Our condolences to Faye & the entire Nemoir Family. I have known Joe since grade school. He certainly knew how to make everyone laugh (except the nuns). After grade school I often heard about the shenanigans with Jim, Steve & Joe. Many memories to hold close to our hearts. Joe, what a pleasure knowing you, you will be missed. Barb

I was extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Joe. He was a loyal friend, a terrific classmate to those who knew him well, and a darn good basketball player!

I sat in front of Joe for four sold years of home room. He was always the first to say hi, and often times spent the entire 45 minutes discussing the fortunes (and fate) of MUHS basketball. As well, we would discuss Joe’s prominence as one of the “all time best” in the annals of MUHS intramural buckets.

Joe had a sparkling (and comedic) personality, a true sense of humor, a love of life, a strong loyalty to his fellow classmates and instructors at Marquette High. He would attend all the basketball and football games (home and away), and would sure to congratulate the players the morning after. He was what all of us called, a “real winner.”

I know Joe will be dearly missed. I haven’t seen him since 1970 - our 5 year reunion - and I will miss him! He’s a class act in every sense of the word.

Rest in Peace, my friend. I hope to see you on the other side.

Mr. Nemoir was my favorite high school teacher at Riverside HS. His ability to relate to his students with laughter and so much encouragement for all his students. His ability to teach with humor and passion was amazing. Rest peacefully. A job well done. My sympathy to the entire family.

Joey my friend of 60 plus years I can’t believe you’re gone! No more calls, lunches, beers, VO’s or Korbel’s. How ever all and much more will never be forgotten! You truly are the one whose mold was broken! In our 77 years on the earth we and our wives and friends have had one hell of a LIFE! I will miss you every day! Hopefully we’ll be together again!

Mr Nemoir was one of the favorite teachers when we attended Riverside. He always had that same smile and curly hair when we would see him after graduation. Prayers for the family, he was a great soul.

My deepest condolences to the Nemoir family. Uncle Joe (he was also my Godfather) was a significant part of my life going back to my infancy. I will of course, always remember and cherish the annual Father's Day camp, Brewers games and many other gatherings we did together with the families. Uncle Joe lite up a room with his booming voice and warm smile. He was always the first to greet someone in a room and make them feel comfortable. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sending much love from Florida.

Love,
