I wish I would have had the chance to know Carl as he sounds like a wonderful, kind man with more accomplishments than one could list. He has touched many lives and may his legacy live on forever.

Carl was not only a great friend but influenced me on how to be a gentleman. I've had the privilege of knowing Carl since my freshman year in high school when he was an assistant at Ozaukee CC. My sincerest condolences to Carl's wife Carol and family. You will be missed my friend.

Carl was a great teacher and a great man. I had the pleasure of working with Carl on my golf game and in supporting a charity to whom we were both connected. Carl's work ethic and passion for doing the right thing always stood out to me. I will cherish the memories I have.

To the Family of Carl Unis:
My deepest sympathy to you for the loss of Mr. Unis.
He was a kind, soft-spoken and gentle man, who had a genuine love for golf, but more importantly, a love for teaching the game. I considered him to be the last of a legendary trio of Milwaukee Private Golf Club Professionals that I have had the distinct privilege of knowing: Manuel de la Torre, Russ Tuveson and Carl.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Unis.
