John F. Wandschneider
January 12, 1943 - February 8, 2023
Dear Wandschneider Family,
We are hurting along with you and our grief is consuming. Your loving and precious modeling from my "Rooms" about celebrating his remarkable life and those photos are soothing, just like John and Julie were always to us.
"Mr. Kindness" will always be with me from our undergrad days and beyond. Please feel our love, respect and deep appreciation for your love, wonderful laughter and contribution to a world left better because of your presence here.

Dear Julie, Lisa, David, Jacob, Jack, and Family-DEAR ONES,
Please accept our deepest sympathies in the loss of your loving husband, father, and grandfather.
We know with God's Eternal Loving Presence, our Christian Faith (which John had and carried with him) and God's Assurance in the Resurrection of His Son that John is in Heaven Joyously Reunited and Celebrating in Service to the Lord with his mother Millie, dad Dempster, his sister JoAnn and brother Jim and so man others he loved in this life and cared for!
John was a reflection of the love his parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles gave him. He carried those loving roots through his entire life in persuit of always being a kind, caring, and loving example for everyone he met. John was brilliant educator and helped to mold so many in improving their lives! May God Continue to Bless and Keep His Family and Friends Always! Frederick and Peggy Holtz

Dear Julie and Family: I'm sorry for the loss of your dear husband, John. He was a dedicated, community minded person, much like you. My husband, Larry died last year around the same time. It is difficult. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dr Wandschneider was the best professor I had in my MBA program at Concordia. I learned so much from him and it made a great impact on my career as a Human Resources professional. My sincere sympathies.

John was always such a considerate gentleman who always had the best interest in the community. I worked closely with him when he was on the Police and Fire Commission, especially since he was one of the Commissioners who hired me as Chief of Police. His thoughtfulness and laugh will be missed. God Bless John and his family at this difficult time.

My sincere sympathy to John’s family. I worked with Julie and met John several times. I remember his contagious smile and kindness toward anyone he met.
May you all hold those precious memories of this man who had an amazing “dash”.
