We had the pleasure of meeting Gloria when she was in Gold Canyon visiting her brother Wayne our good friend. We had a great time getting to know her during her visit here. Such a lovely lady.
Our deepest sympathy to her family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Family and Friends:
Though far away in Oklahoma my heart feels so near. Gloria was a wonderful example to all. She taught us all to love a little more. You will be greatly missed Gloria!

I'm so sorry for your loss, Michael & Stephanie. While I never had Mrs. Tonn as a teacher, she was such a fixture at SPI. She blessed so many lives. May God's peace surround you.

Mrs. Tonn was the first person I remember "loving" outside of my family. My condolences to my old friend, Michael. I'm so sorry for your loss.

We never met this wonderful lady but know she was wonderful by the son she raised, as well as the sincere appreciation her former students are showing upon her passing. We sooooo wish we could be there with you to give you love and support at this difficult time, but please know we will absolutely be sending thoughts of love that day. Toma love to you :)

Mrs. Tonn not only taught me to read but to love reading. She not only taught me how to learn but to love to learn. She holds every one of her students accountable but holds them near and dear to her heart simultaneously. She will be missed tremendously and was truly a lovely, Godly woman.
