My sympathy to the family. Dr. Riesch has known me since I was 13; followed me all the way through my life as a nurse and mom. I'll forever remember the compassion, wisdom and love he shared with me and my family.

Terry, sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He certainly was no ordinary man. I have many memories of your father whether helping with an emergency surgery or voicing a strong opinion at an MA group meeting. As you know he was a fearless surgeon and leader. I give
thanks to John and others for founding Medical Associates and allowing me to join and work with a great group of doctors and staff from 1992 to 2006. a great man who will of course be missed. Blessings to you and your family. Dave

I have very vivid memories of Dr. Riesch in the OR, on the hospital floor and in the clinic for the several summers he allowed me to work with him while in high school. His personality mix of compassionate juggernaut has never been matched in my medical training or career since. My experiences with him confirmed my desire to pursue medicine and I have frequently reflected back on his example over the years. I am grateful for the time I was able to spend learning from him. My condolences to all your family.
