To the Strothenke family you all are in my deepest thoughts and prayers. There are no words to describe what you all are going through, but know that Laurie was so loved by many and she will be dearly missed. Also, that God will be there always to comfort and get you all through this time. Laurie is in a wonderful place looking down on you all with love, smiling with her beautiful sweet smile. God bless.

I grew up with Laurie and have fond memories of her in Girl Scouts and Marching Band. She was such a nice person with a fun sense of humor. We lost touch in adulthood, but hearing what she did with her life tells me she continued to be a great person. Her love and devotion to her family and her work will live on and never be forgotten. My sincere condolences to her family.

Jeff, Marisa, and Dana, I am deeply saddened and sorry for your loss. Laurie was an amazing wife, mother and friend to all. I have such fond memories of having Dana as a fourth grader at Washington, and getting to know your whole family. You all are, and will continually be, in my and my family's thought and prayers.

Dear Scott and family, my heart is breaking for you all. We have been here before at the same time; to re visit again is gut renching but know that we understand and our thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember Laurie from St. Cam. working with both mom and dad; a kinder, gentler spirit there was not, she will be missed. Katie V.

Jeff, Marissa and Dana-I am so very sorry for your loss. This is a huge loss for everyone Laurie has touched. She was one of my first grade school friends. I was so happy when our paths crossed again at Tosa East where we were the parents, rather than the students, and I’d see her smile and wave across the auditorium. Such a kind heart. Her love of family (and your love of her) was so evident in her Facebook posts. Laurie will be sorely missed by many. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers.
