Kathy & family, my deepest condolences for your loss. The loss of a child is the most excruciating event a person can experience. Trust in God, trust in His promises, He will see you through this.
Scott has run his race and has achieved the Blessing of entering heaven before us. We look forward to the day when we will all be reunited and with our loved ones and with Jesus in Eternal Glory.

I worked with Scott at Great America many years ago now, but I still remember him fondly, as we worked a lot of afternoons together. We also hung out after work quite a bit, and he was among the nicest people I've ever known. I was very sorry to hear of his passing, and I want to extend to his family my deepest condolences.

Dear Jeanette, Trevor, Zachary and entire family, my deepest heartfelt sympathies to you all. I pray you find peace in the midst of your heartache. Those of us who work in cemeteries are all too familiar with loss. Yet, when it happens close to home, to one of us, we find ourselves just as ill equipped at times to find the right words, or to be shielded from the pain. Lloyd, you and your family are in my prayers.

With heartfelt sincerity,

Bill Hoffmann,

There is so much I could say about Scott but I wanted to share just one of the many reasons why I was proud to have him as a friend. Scott asked me to be part of his special day, his wedding. He didn't ask me because he knew me well back then or that we were even friends. He asked me because of the love and respect that he had for his soon to be wife, Jeannette. She and I had been friends since grade school and he knew how close we were. He realized that she didn't know his friends all that well back then and that it would mean a great deal to have one of Jeannette's friends there with them at the altar. Who does that? Who, most certainly left out someone he may have close to, in favor of someone he barely knew? Scott did and did it because it was in his character to make people happy. He showed his love for the people on his life whenever he had the opportunity. From the day I met him until his final day, he was there for his family and never gave up. Through thick and thin, good times and bad, his character never let him quit.
God bless you Scott.
