Nichols, Betty M. (nee Lilly)

Born on September 12, 1930 in Whitefish Bay, WI to John and Helen Lilly and born to Eternal Life on November 20, 2015 at the age of 85. Betty knew Jesus Christ as her Savior, and was a godly example to her family and those who knew her.  

Beloved wife of Gordon for 65 years. Loving mother of Margaret (Dennis) O’Leary, Mary Whitmore, Michael Nichols, Cindy (Eugene) Raap and Carol (Larry) Hinterberg. Cherished grandmother of Todd O’Leary, Amy Christianson, Timothy Whitmore, Kimberly Nolan, Elizabeth Raap, Matthew Raap, Lori Mazzucco, Ryan Hinterberg and Evan Hinterberg. Great-grandmother of 6. Further survived by her sister Lucille Manginen, sister-in-law Annie Lilly, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings.  

Visitation will be Friday November 27, 2015 at the Funeral Home from 10 AM until time of service at Noon. Procession to Sunnyside Cemetery to immediately follow the service. 

The family would like to express their appreciation for the pastoral care of Rev. Thomas Schmitt, St. John’s Lutheran Church, and the compassionate care given by Dr. Paul Halstrom and staff at Linden Grove.
