William R. Schmeling, formerly of Okauchee, passed away on Friday November 21, 2014 at the age of 89 years. He was born April 19, 1925 in Milwaukee to Otto and Hedwig Schmeling. He married Dorothy Jorns on June 21, 1947. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, children; Mark (Sharon) Schmeling, Sharon (Tony) Kodzik, Kenneth (Lynn) Schmeling, Sue (Mike) Kollver, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. William served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Friends may visit on Wednesday November 26, 2014 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service 1:00 pm all at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church (210 Pleasant Street Oconomowoc, WI. 53066). Final rest La Belle Cemetery. Memorials to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church.
