(nee Helmann) Died peacefully at the age of 89 after a long illness on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at her residence in St. Camillus Retirement Community in Wauwatosa, WI.
Preceded in death by her husband, Alfred “Bud” Daevel, son, Michael Paul Daevel, parents George and Louise Helmann; sisters, Patricia Helmann and Sister Mary Louise, O.P. and brothers, Joseph Helmann, Brother Ricardo Helmann, C.S.C., George Helmann, Jr. and Rev. Monsignor Maurice Helmann. Survived by her three children: Kenneth Daevel (Nancy Passante), Kathy Daevel Hubrich (Dan), and Richard Daevel (Joyce) Richter). Also survived by 8 grandchildren; Kari Daevel Treglia, J. Kyle Daevel, Andrew Daevel, Michael Hubrich, Jessica Hubrich, Brian Daevel (Kasandra Mueller), Carmen Richter Schaller (Matt) and Carrie Richter Helke (Casey). Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren: RK Treglia, Madison Treglia, Issac Daevel, Amari Daevel and Meredeth Schaller.
Anna Marie was born June 14, 1921 in Hastings, Nebraska but lived for 65 years in Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Oconomowoc and Wauwatosa. She was very active in her church communities.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, August 18. Visitation at 4:00 PM with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 6:30 PM at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, 9525 W. Bluemound Road, Milwaukee, WI. Interment at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 19 at St. Jerome Cemetery in Oconomowoc.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church.
