Of Mukwonago, passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2016 at the age of 75.  He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Hill of 39 years.  Loving dad of Jill (Rick) Adler, Kay (Marty) Johnson, Brian (Kim) Hill, Chris (Lesley) Hill, and Amy Hill; proud papa of Megan (Josh) Johnson, Bill (Samantha) Adler, Daniel Adler, Monica (John) Watry, Allison (Julian) Romero, Stephanie (James) Carrillo, Nicole Hill, Brittany Hill, Cooper Hill, Amanda (Chris) Dreksler, Ashley Wellnitz, and Casey Wellnitz; great-papa of Steven, Katie, Axton, Damon, Erika, and Aidan.  He is further survived by his brother Robert (Arlene) Hill, other relatives and many friends.  Richard was preceded in death by his son B.J. Weier.

As a lifelong resident of Mukwonago, Dick touched many lives. Dick became very active in the community at an early age. Serving in the Mukwonago Jaycees, Mukwonago Volunteer Fire department, Cub Scout Pack Leader and then Village President for ten years. Many can still remember going to Hill's Department store where he and his brother ran the family business for many years. During this time he also served his country proudly in the Wisconsin Army National guard, where he achieved and retired with the rank of Major. Dick always felt fortunate to have been able to start a second career at Citizens Bank of Mukwonago, where he retired as Security Officer. Retirement meant that he just had more time to volunteer himself serving the community which he loved. Whether it was serving on the library board, manning the popcorn machine at friday night football games, or spending countless hours as one of the longest serving members of the Mukwonago Kiwanis Club. The only thing Dick loved more than helping make Mukwonago a better place to live, was his family. There were no limits when it came to helping or being there for his family. Rest in peace Papa, we love you.
