Died unexpectedly on August 28, 2016 at the age of 69. Stephen is survived by his wife Linda Oddan, his brother Christopher (Anne) Contney, sister, Rena (Rob) Plichta, niece, Carolyn Contney, nephew, Brian (Alex) Contney, other relatives and many friends.

Steve worked at the Medical College of Wisconsin for 40 years.  His retirement passion was working with the Milwaukee Bonsai Society.  He was also an accomplished cook and a fervent NASCAR fan.

A “Celebration” of Stephen’s life will take place on Friday September 9, at the Funeral Home from 4 PM to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers Memorials in Stephen’s name may be made to the Milwaukee Bonsai Society (MBS) Excellence in Bonsai Program P.O. Box 240822 Milwaukee, WI 53224
