Daniel T. Merkel Born to eternal life July 23, 2016 at the age of 99. He is reunited with his beloved wife Arlene (Nee Buth) with whom he shared 69 years of marriage. Preceded in death by his 5 brothers and 1 sister. Loving and cherished father of Patricia (the late Basil) Zaferos, Daniel (the late Arlene), and Cynthia (Mark) Viduski. Dear grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is survived by his dear sister Ruth (and the late Ken) Nolte of Oceanside, CA sister in law Betty (and the late Conrad), further survived by other family and many dear friends from the Germantown Senior Center. Visitation will be held Friday July 29, 2016 at Lutheran Church of the Prince of Peace W156 N7149 Pilgram Rd. Menomonee Falls, WI 53051 from 12 p.m until time of service at 1 p.m Entombment Valhalla Memorial Park.
