Ms. Mungan,
I really wished I came back to tell you thank you in person. You made me a better student and to be more curious about the world and what more I could learn from it. Because of you I have helped others achieve more in their studies, and I now work in a college where I get to do that every day. My three children have degrees and work so very hard. In a time of my life that was so very difficult for me at home, you got me out of my head. Thank you forever. Thank you for being that hard teacher that got through to me. RIP Teach. - Liwan, from the front row, 1985. *PS Somers is in NY, not CT.

I was terribly saddened to hear of Sister Carol Marie's passing. I was a student of hers at St Eugenes grammar school and again at St Clare Academy. She was an inspiration and a true friend who enjoyed our talks about the dances in Manhattan I would go to before I would show up on Saturday morning for the weekend retreat. She was funny and truly amazing. I will remember her always and feel blessed to have known her.

Prayers to the family. I was her student at St. Clare Academy. I have often thought of Sister Carole Marie. She was a wonderful principal. I will pray for her. She was loved and admired by many.May her soul rest in eternal peace.I still have the prayer book she gave us at our 1963 Graduation. I carried it at my wedding..She probably never knew the many lives she had touched in her lifetime.

I know her as Sister Carol Marie from St. Clare Academy in Hastings NY. She was the principal there for my 4 years. Prior to my attending, my sister Janet was there. As a child, Sister gave me a large book of the Our Father. I still have it. Always loved her even when I got myself in trouble for having a skirt that was too short and the wrong shoes. I will pray for her.

Condolences to the family. I was her student in the 3rd and 6th grade at St Eugene School and during my high school years at St. Clare Academy as Sr. Carol Marie. An excellent teacher and mentor to her students who loved and admired her. May she rest in eternal peace.

I am both shocked and saddened to learn of Mary Jane's death. She was a wonderful example to all who knew her. Loving sister to Carol and a treasured and loving aunt. May warm memories ease the pain of your loss and her deep faith bring you comfort. Fondly, Alice
