Passed away peacefully at his home in Waukesha on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the age of 48.   Greg is lovingly remembered by his mother Lois of Hartland; sisters Theresa (Bill) and Catherine; brothers Stephen (Elaine), Russell (Maureen), Bernie (Brian), Ken (June), Aunt Marybeth (John), sister in-law Kristine; and loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Greg is predeceased by his father, Kenneth, his brother, John, his uncle James Schlagheck and Aunt Annabelle Schlagheck. 

Greg was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1967. He received his High School Diploma (GED) in 1991, completed course work in World Geography with Colorado State University in 2002 and received his amateur radio license (KB9KKC) in 2005.  He worked at Pantheon Industries in Oconomowoc, WI.Greg lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; music, movies, billiards, biking, hiking, crossword puzzles, hanging out with his friends at Friendships Unlimited in Waukesha and spending time with his family. In the summer Greg loved attending festivals and fairs throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. Greg had an uncanny ability to remember family members’ birthdays and never missed sending a card to show he was thinking of you.

Visitation will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 818 N. East Avenue, Waukesha, Wisconsin on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 9:30 AM until the time of Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lutheran Social Services at https://www.changealife.today/home.htm#.
