(née Truttschel) Died peacefully at Franciscan Woods Transitional Care Center in Brookfield, WI on February 12th, 2016 at the age of 96. 

Sally is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Patrick) Waite of Ajijic, MX; her daughter, Nancy (Mike) McKinnon of Janesville, WI; her son Mike (Peg) Broker of Wauwatosa, WI; her son Alan (Lina) Broker of Aurora, IL; her ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, David and her sisters, Lillian, Margaret and Eleanor.

Sally was born on December 31st, 1919 in Sheboygan Falls, WI to Otis and Mary O’Neill Truttschel. She graduated from Plymouth HS in 1939, married David in 1943 and moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1947.

Sally was a loving, caring and sensitive wife, mother and grandparent.  She found solace and meaning in her faith, family and friends.  She enjoyed travel and spending weekends at their cabin on Pelican Lake, as well as world adventures that took her to distant places in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe. Most of all, she was the matriarch of a family that was honored and touched by the simple honesty of her love and devotion.

A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, February 16, at 5:00 pm at Hawthorne Terrace, 7700 W. Portland Ave, Wauwatosa, WI.  All are welcome to attend. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 17, from 10:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, at ST SEBASTIAN PARISH,5400 W Washington Blvd in Milwaukee.  A private burial in Plymouth, WI will follow.
