Nancy A. Scholz
May 9, 1946 - February 6, 2016
        

Age 69, of Fox Point, entered eternal life on February 6, 2016, her best day. She is deeply missed by her children, Jeffrey Scholz and Jennifer (Gerald) Dicks; and her granddaughters Claire, Audrey and Emily Dicks. Further survived by father Elroy Mauer, sister Barbara (Michael) Moder, and brothers David (Mary) Mauer and Richard (Lori) Mauer; sisters and brothers-in-law Carole Cagle, Phyllis (Wesley) Ciesielski, and Rosita (Don) Huebner; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Henry Scholz, her husband of 47 years, mother, Virginia Mauer; her father- and mother-in-law Henry and Veronica Scholz, brother-in-law Robert Scholz and sister-in-law Marian Scholz.    

Nancy was born to Elroy and Virginia Mauer and grew up in New Holstein, WI. After graduating from New Holstein High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in Education. Nancy was a preschool teacher for many years at Rainbow Preschool, worked with children in daycare, and cared for many Fox Point families. She retired in 2013 to devote her life to caring for her husband, Hank, until his passing. She was then able to spend weekends caring for her father, Elroy. She enjoyed her family and many friends, spending time at the family cottage, reading, cooking and gardening. She and her husband Hank were parish members at St. Eugene Catholic Church for over 30 years.    

A visitation for Nancy will be held on Friday, February 12th from 9:00-11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 7600 N. Port Washington Rd., Fox Point, WI 53217.  A luncheon reception at the church hall will follow the mass.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Eugene Catholic Church to be used towards a future parish gift.
