Mel, I was shocked and saddened when I saw Tom's obituary in the Wisconsin State Journal. I remember him as an intelligent, hard-working, family-loving man from our time as co-workers at Madison Business College. I hope you and your family find comfort and strength in your fond memories of Tom's life with you. Gene

Dear Mel,
I'm thinking of you today. From my brief meeting with Tom, he was a dear man who loved his family very much! I know he meant so much to Flor. I loved the pictures of Tom with Iilari! He had such a sweet smile even being so ill. Please accept my condolences with my love to you and your family.

You were a wonderful uncle to grow with even after we moved to Texas you kept in touch with what was going on with us. My fondest memory was when Karen and I were little you took us to see the Letterman concert (don't judge) when my parents couldn't go. Your young 20 something self taking your young nieces to a concert you would normally not want to go to. We will all miss him.

Tom and I met only a couple times in person over the years working, but he left an impression on me after our very first meeting. Such a kind man with strong integrity. He will be greatly missed. His family and friends will be in my prayers during this difficult time.
