Kroening, Karla M. (nee Drexler)

Went home on Nov. 26, 2015 to have Thanksgiving with the Lord. Age 81 years. Loving wife of James for 57 years. Dear mom of Leslie (Mike) Horst and Joseph (Contessa). Proud grandma of Carolyn (fiance Daniel Szafranek), Lindsay, James and Hannah Horst and Axel and Beckett Kroening. Dear sister of Mary Dorau-Keane. Further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Martha Drexler, sisters, Virginia Clark, Jeanne Clark, Donna Mellen and her brother, Rudolph Drexler Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thurs. Dec. 3 at 5 PM at St. James Catholic Church, W220 N6588 Town Line Rd., Menomonee Falls. Visitation at the Church from 3 PM until time of Mass. Burial will be Fri. Dec. 4 at 11 AM at St. Anthony's Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus, 3800 N. 92nd St. Milwaukee, WI 53222 are appreciated.
