Robert "Bob" C. White
December 4, 1947 - November 20, 2015
        

Robert “Bob” Craig White, born December 4, 1947, age 67, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 by drowning in a hunting accident. Bob was born in Peoria, Illinois and lived in Mukwonago, WI.

He has two sisters Margaret “Peggy,” (James Reed) of Indianapolis, IN,  and Karen  (David Breams) of Matoon, Il.  He spent his youth in Peoria, IL attending Kingman Grade School and graduated Woodruff High School where he was student council president and Key Club vice president. He attended Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois where met, Paula “Jane” White, his wife of 46 years. He was loving father of his daughter Anne Marie White of Milwaukee,WI.

Bob was a proud veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. He will be interred at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.

Bob worked at Hyster as traffic manager and then transitioned into sales with OK Trucking in Danville, Illinois. He transferred with OK Trucking to Mukwonago, WI in 1978 and continued in the trucking industry with PIE Trucking, Roadrunner,  Pinnacle Trucking, Performance Frieght, Vytran, and Lakeville Motor Express, until his retirement in 2010. He was former President of the Ozaukee Traffic Club. He most recently worked at Havana Cigar and Lounge, West Allis, WI, where he enjoyed camaraderie with long time friends.

Avid hunter, sportsman, fisherman and cigar aficionado. Bob enjoyed spending free time at Buckhorn Campground near Mauston, WI, where friends shared his love of the outdoors and nature. He took many fishing and hunting trips with close friends to Canada and Colorado; most recently he traveled to Costa Rica.

Bob is deeply loved and missed by his family including nephew, Patrick Reed, aunt Evelyn (Carl Coleman) and niece, Leslie Peck of Spencerport, New York and other cousins in New York state, cousin Tinker Taylor of Hebron, Maryland, and many other friends and colleagues. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret (McGill) and Charles White, Danville, IL.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 25, 2015, at the FUNERAL HOME, from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Private family burial at a later date.
