Marilyn Krueger
September 2, 1928 - October 8, 2015
        

Born September 2, 1928 in Beecher IL to Walter and Della (Tatge) Meier. Born to eternal life on October 8, 2015. Graduated from Beecher High School and Valparaiso University. Taught English at Beecher HS. Married Ralph Mees Krueger in 1951 and was blessed with three sons: Mark (Lisa) of Greendale, Kurt (Margaret) of New Berlin, and Tom (Kris) of Plano TX. Also four grandchildren: Michael, Daniel, Andrew and Madeline. Survived by sisters- and brothers-in-law Lois and Lon Alexander, Mary Ellen and Ed Kramer, Karen and Paul Wagner, and Fritz Upham; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Vernon, brother-in-law Art, and sisters-in-law Lovina, Jean and Doris. Moved to Milwaukee in 1956 and became an active member at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, where she served in many capacities, including teaching Bible classes for over 30 years. Member of the Milwaukee Suburban chapter of the Valparaiso University Guild, serving in several capacities, including president of the national Guild. The family expresses their appreciation for the care and compassion Marilyn received at Harwood Place and The Lutheran Home.

Memorials to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Valparaiso University and Lutheran Hour Ministries. Visitation at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, 11am - 1:30pm Monday, October 12 with service to follow. Private interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
